Chaa Thai is a podcast spilling the tea on Peace Corps volunteer life in Thailand! Each episode, hosts Dano Nissen and Morgan Shupsky interview a current Peace Corps volunteer in Thailand and do a deep dive on their experience at their host site. This week we’ve got Cloé on to talk about all things SAO (the local government offices where some Youth in Development Volunteers work) – the good, the bad, and the awkward. Cloé is a YinD volunteer in the north of Thailand and she shared some of her uncomfortable anecdotes related to Thai photography norms, the struggles that come with trying to plan for your future during your service, and her personal developments after being a PCV for over a year and a half!
