An Ode To is an ongoing series dedicated by Peace Corps Volunteers to the people we meet, places we go, experiences we have, and memories we make, during or before service, with a special nod to everything we miss along the way. Dedicated to my terrific relatives and friends

I treasure our time tightly

For all the truths you tactfully taught

The lessons you imparted

and the strength you constantly transfer

Helped me turn into who I am today

Transforming my identity

Letting me thrive

To experience the thrills of Thailand

Thinking of everything to gain

Of all the timeless triumphs to tell

With further insight

To share the tale of sustained tranquility

Your thoughtfulness

Turns into trumpets

Constantly replaying those tracks

Trusting I can traverse and transcend any trials, tribulations, or turmoil

To feel tremendously stronger

And gain further traction

To tour more trails, turfs, and tides

I appreciate your towering support

Causing tears to trickle

For all the tons of love

I am infinitely grateful
