The rain sifts through thoughts late at night
Innocently reflecting successes and sutures
Asking if this vessel is enough
To carry the expectations of all

As the drops pour endlessly in
Hopes and dreams sink heavily below
And a taint bitterness of fears and frustrations
Dissolve into the waters that lost their glow
The clouds overhead bring acceptance
Eagerly stretching dim lights of love and passion
Over the pool of vulnerable emotions
To remind the self it is enough
