TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOUR TRAVELS…

Koh Samui was absolutely stunning. Off the coast of Surat Thani Province, Koh Samui is one of the larger islands I have ever been to. Since we were only there a matter of days, we really were only able to explore half of its beauty. Lamai Beach is the perfect setting for a relaxing day on the beach, but also offers a plethora of restaurants, shops, dessert cafes and traditional Thai massage parlors. Chaweng is another beautiful beach to visit during the day, but has an entertaining nightlife, as well. If you are looking for western food, Stacked is a great choice. Although it is a bit expensive, they offer burgers as incredible to eat as they are to look at. They also offer a vegetarian option, a gluten-free bun (additional cost of 70 baht), and eight choices worth of french fries. Another amazing yet expensive meal was served up by Gringos Cantina. I highly suggest the fajitas. Gringos was easily the best Mexican food I have had since being in Thailand. Better yet, they offer margarita deals! Just a few steps from Gringos, you will be greeted by promoters for various bars and can dance the night away with your friends. Our days were just as exciting. Koh Samui offers plenty of adventures like jet-skiing, zip-lining, and ATVs. We spent our Saturday hiking up to a beautiful waterfall only ten minutes from Lamai Beach, although I am blanking on the name. A strenuous walk up to Jungle Cafe is worth it for stellar views, as well. While Koh Samui was more costly than many places in Thailand, it was totally worth it. I can’t wait to get back!
