This week’s #MusicMonday pick is a mix by DJs Chris Menist and Maft Sai. The two are avid record collectors and have helped spark a new interest in Thai music from the 1960s and 70s. The duo founded Paradise Bangkok Records which re-issues classic Molam, music from Thailand’s Northeast region (Isan), and Luk Thung, Thai country music from the central region. This mix includes a wide range of music from around the globe including a track from their most recent compilation, Paradise Bangkok The Album: Vol. 2.
