The Road to Khon Kaen: A Clichéd Running Playlist

Ty Miranda, 127 YinD

So, everyone has their own running style. I do really give credit to those of you who run without music and just listen to the sounds of barking dogs, meat frying, and loud village announcements during your runs. I, on the other hand, need to have something to keep my ears occupied during a run.

Therefore, I have put together the perfect clichéd running playlist for you. Yes, you may be thinking, ‘Why the hell would I put these songs on my iPhone?’. But, think of the moments when you are running on empty and you just need something to make you smile and laugh. Hearing artists sing about running without meaning it always entertains me during a run. I can picture Rihanna running next to me singing, “We gonna run this town tonight”,  even though it’s like 5 am. Or even Florence and the Machine telling me, “Run fast for your mother, run fast for your father”, and I’m like,  “Why aren’t they running too?”. Anyway, just something to make you smile today I guess.
