I recently attempted to make my own veggie burgers on the long holiday weekend. Mostly because I was bored and mostly because I had beans in my kitchen just waiting to be used. I consulted a number of my veggie/vegan PCV friends to make this work and then I thought… this would make a great guide.
This guide isn’t perfect but it should help you through. When I made my veggie burgers I used kidney beans, black beans, green beans, onions, garlic, taco seasoning, and lime juice. I grilled them at my local market in front of my house for about 10 minutes per side. I topped the burgers with tomatoes, onions, and lime juice. Bonne appetit!
