Songkran, known as Thai New Years is one of the most celebrated Thai Holidays. It is a time where families get together, people make merit and bathe each other in water. As a Peace Corps Volunteer celebrating holidays native to their country of service is one of the most rewarding experiences. Check out what Songkran is all about and how we celebrated it in my little village in Thailand.
