Project Review Committee (PRC), run by Peace Corps Volunteers and Peace Corps Staff, guides Volunteers in developing projects for funding. PRC conducts a Project Development & Management Training (PDM) for Volunteers and their counterparts which covers all phases of project development. PRC also reviews and pre-approves all grants submitted for funding. The PRC Wiki page has examples of previously written grants, guidelines for funding, and links to resources. Access to the PRC’s Wiki page (and other secure pages) will be given to new PCVs at the end of training. PCVs can also contact PRC members directly to help them understand and navigate the project proposal process.
Soon after swearing in, the PCVs in Group 128 will be able to apply to PRC; the application will be on the Wiki. After applications are submitted, current members will choose three 128 volunteers to become PRC members.
We are excited to hear about the new project ideas that will be presented by Group 128 and their communities over the next two years! Good Luck!
